I’m surprised at how many people i run into who have never heard of http://www.pandora.com/

Basically you select a band or muscian you like and it creates a radio station with similar music to what you select. It’s great for hearing what you feel like listening to but i’ve been introduced to so much new material because of this site.

It’s awesome because it plays through your browser using the flash plugin so you don’t need to install anything, just login and there are your stations.

There is obviously a iPhone app so i can plug my phone into my car and stream pandora while i sit rotting in traffic on Causeway.

It has sporadic commercials throughout and you have a monthly hourly limit  which isn’t bad because it’s free but $36 a year you get the Pandora One setup that is totally worth it. I’m not really a big fan of paying for things but it comes down to $3 a month.
